Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born June 13, 1962 in the United States is an actor. Following her debut movie in 1983, Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat group consisting of actors. She appeared in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. For her performance on Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy was awarded an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy has been an American writer and actor for over 20 years. She began her film career through the crime film Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she was praised. Rick Rosenthal was the director of the film where other actors were equally prominent, including Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a 1985 comedy-drama. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. Despite an budget of just 1 million dollars, the film's profits exceeded $50 million. As she worked on the show, her debut on television took place on CBS Schoolbreak. In April 1980, the show began to air. It was intended for teenagers. She also appeared on other shows on TV, including Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. A few of her most recent appearances are in Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring a superhero that she appears in as a cameo. Sheedy's amazing performances have won numerous accolades like the MTV Movie Award of Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
